FOUNDER'S STORY
As a child growing up in Dallas, TX, I would enjoy memorable summer vacations with my family. My grandmother would stand out amongst the group wearing her chic wide-brimmed hats, which she wore for style, but most importantly to protect herself from the sun.
As someone who has struggled with sun-related issues over the years, I was not initially knowledgeable about the importance of sun protection. Through extensive research, I’ve developed a passion for sun safety. I’ve learned that our faces, necks, and ears are some of the most susceptible areas to sun damage. Wearing the right hat can provide much needed shade, protection from painful sunburn, and can also prevent the risk of developing heat-related illnesses.
